Many anglers are now making direct enquiries to us about the famous 63-13 hooks and asking where they can find stock.
Covid has caused a massive disruption to supply chains worldwide, throughout many industries. With the 63-13 being such a special, almost 'cult' hook, we're struggling to get more supply and don't anticipate being able to fix this until the winter of 2022/23. The main issue has been obtaining the specialist steel that these hooks are made from and then trying to find a production slot in Japan. Our factory in Japan are now saying that there may be a window to produce these around August 2022. Crazy disruption caused by the Covid pandemic. It is not just the 63-13 that we are struggling to get made! Despite working tirelessly behind the scenes, some items continue to be an issue due to disruption of supply chains and lack of resources. You can be assured that we are doing all we can in these difficult times.
We apologise for any inconvenience. In the meantime, please consider the hooks in our KM range (KM-1, KM-2, KM-3, KM-4)...
The KM-1 is a finer wire eyed carp hook designed for winter presentations and summer finesse work on commercial match lakes. Try tying them with a knotless knot plus hair with particle baits affixed and get ready for a feeding frenzy. Available in sizes 8 to 20. Watch the video below:
