Steve Gregory
In 1997, Steve Gregory broke the UK match record at Drayton Reservoir with 297lb, beating the previous record by just under 100lb. Drayton Reservoir was one of the first commercial fisheries and weights like this were unheard of. It soon became apparent that this style of fishing would be the future and Steve took full advantage of the situation. Shortly after, Earlswood Lakes came on to the scene, and Steve found the fishing much to his liking. He plundered a massive 414lb 14oz of 2lb carp to smash the record once again. Another title to add to his collection is Browning UK Pole Masters Champion, which he claimed at Cudmore Fishery in Staffordshire. In October 2011, Steve joined the team of Middy sponsored anglers.
